Attorney Brett Busch to Present CLE Workers' Comp Seminar

Next month, Attorney Brett Busch will hold a CLE seminar as part of the full-day Colorado Bar Association Event "Worker's Compensation Basics: Learn How the System Works." Attorney Busch was asked to participate for his insight into the workers' compensation practice area, which he will lend to his fellow attorneys in the seminar "Compensability of an Injury Under the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act."

The Colorado Bar Association holds Continuing Legal Education events to ensure the local legal community has the opportunity maintain a comprehensive awareness and knowledge of their practice area. Attorney Busch's seminar will cover a number different topics to provide attendees with a foundational understanding of Colorado workers' comp laws.

Attorney Busch will cover the following topics:

  • Employer/Employee Relationship
  • Course and Scope of Employment
  • Arising out of Employment
  • What is a Compensable Injury?
  • Special Circumstances
  • Defenses to Compensability
